To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.: S5 M$ H- a/ C1 N/ l6 v' t

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
& Q) o4 {# s7 M1 f. T5 x9 X• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;, B9 ?7 L6 W6 v7 [. j( j; O
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
, p& g) b! U1 m4 Y4 g• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;% s' `7 N' x, T+ @$ w$ B
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.1 Z1 w) r, j: H) }. v: C
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Participate in trade shows;5 r& f) e+ }/ A. b1 m
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;* ^& ~1 h/ K3 z# E4 j1 p9 V/ a
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property$ G' [' [/ T; T; O4 g, }
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
* n6 p/ Z" d8 R+ B/ d• Ability to lead and develop;! T& P' [* e0 l0 `
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
