Job Description:
  x1 q8 N( z' LTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.0 Z. r7 z9 J  a6 }& b3 }, L5 D( a

, ?4 y/ d2 X' o# N, H• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations., n# O9 g9 k; \
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;' V4 ]5 W  U/ O+ k" x$ [# V, k
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;: @+ I& W1 D# z; i3 ]
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;: ?" p  J7 P2 `. ~+ H
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
6 l9 u7 x6 S8 V. Y• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
, J+ Y* G, Z" S3 Y! w• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;" R7 K" {. V* c
• Participate in trade shows;
" h7 g9 g. r# E5 \: Y; l• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
9 y6 ]/ d$ x( Z• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
& i' f5 a7 _0 r9 g  x/ k* |- ^• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
& s0 r; x. w6 x$ w  z3 ^  x2 T7 J• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
8 M: G0 N7 V4 I/ `•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
$ D9 w6 \7 X" V! j5 ?• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;; A; W! B3 {/ X% H
• Ability to lead and develop;
- v: Z6 B1 Y6 {6 t6 K7 {5 P! {+ ]1 h• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;6 T# i, L- y/ G; M6 u' w
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;! S+ V  u4 o( y; @0 I6 d6 V' {
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

• High level of creativity and innovation;
