. h! c& O$ u2 A' kTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
3 f, J3 V% n: u! O9 q6 E• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
+ p# ^# F" F3 S" o( m+ K• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
/ {) `; T% X5 k% W3 H1 u; f• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

; E4 M2 j' B3 B• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
& Q" P! Z- s( x1 L: k• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
* D2 v0 _$ P, P) q4 ?6 k; ^• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

; h. \/ a) Z+ \% [* n0 y$ ~! N1 E•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
9 x6 ]8 `. r$ `6 G# |3 P, L7 V• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
+ w9 u/ I0 J0 B; |• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
% Q6 O  V9 R2 Q. ^, F% \) {3 m• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
