$ |2 t- [6 ]$ F4 IPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 8 @+ X/ e' j! k1 j# Z M

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person/ o: y5 K2 X" T9 M
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST3 H5 w. n6 [* ~$ J; c, E
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately$ s M/ y; v% l( M) @6 i7 l4 T4 X
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter. T! Y/ M7 l8 U" U
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
* Z9 a+ A1 ?) y* d; j• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
, k7 u& _5 V* W" |. V• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
* ?# m" P7 T, D9 c0 f9 v% u• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events
* H3 z( T4 l/ i; X6 k# }$ t• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

; I- {5 ~: N7 U/ M( F• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
; z B" |8 y" ?• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
0 n: O5 ?& ]( W9 H' [! J5 o• Good English writing and oral communication skills T$ Y. D; u& A' r$ y7 p0 D, a
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience

• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism. w( q; w, D' ~8 U
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
