关于产假和父母假EI的问题

( T+ j6 U6 W5 l0 t8 ~You meet the specific criteria for receiving EI maternity or parental benefit

You have accumulated at least 600 hours of insurable employment during the qualifying period

The qualifying period is the shorter of:

the 52-week period immediately before the start date of your EI period; or
the period since the start of a previous EI benefit period, if that benefit period started during the last 52 weeks.

不知道大家怎么理解qualifying period 这句话的意思。

6 z; `1 }" _! B7 }由于按照该网页的说明，EI maternity benefits可以在生育前申请的，而EI parental benefits则要生育后才可以申请的。
! n. ?3 g0 a+ _- q5 {1 G其实是想要弄清楚的是在如果生育前申请了EI maternity benefits，那么生育后 申请EI parental benefits的时候要满足的qualifying period 到底是怎么计算的呀。

你在网上申请M的时候会有提示问你是否也同时申请 P leave，你答是就可以一起申请下来了，省的Ｐ leave之后还单独申请。

那么生小孩前可以申请Ｐ leave吗？

预产期前一个还是前两个月就可以申请了，好几年前的，不太记得清楚，是同时申请M跟P EI的，我那时就是连着给50周，前两周的等候期是没钱的，
