A male wearing a balaclava and carrying a handgun was spotted by a pedestrian walking in the area of Falconer Road and Riverbend Road at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. 1 s$ {& D8 n; \( Q# @( Y# P) J + `5 e* c4 t2 a, N; NPolice arrested the man later in the afternoon at the Terwillegar Recreation Centre, after receiving a tip from a resident.! ]6 z& J: W3 e5 n# L' v" W

A search of the man's home turned up a BB pistol and balaclava matching the description given by witnesses. The man is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes.! x9 Q- I- A6 c/ U8 m& K0 X D
