我是否应该自己辞职？（关于EI的问题）

我的公司要把我Fire掉了，老板给了我两种选择：1.自己递交辞呈。2.他把我辞掉。我想如果我自己辞的话可能对以后找工作会比较好。但是如果我自己辞就拿不到EI了。我对EI不是太了解，今天刚听说。请比较懂得朋友建议一下。我应该怎样做，自己辞职还是拿EI。挺急的，今天就要做决定。请大家帮忙。在线等。

你们老板是Fire你，还是LayOff你，这两个区别很大很大啊。

He said "terminate employment", I think it means fire.

既然如此，你还是主动辞职吧。不过我对他说的给你个好的Reference持怀疑态度。

他认为你无法达到当前公司的要求，然后还会给你个好的评价？？？

不过不管怎么说，无论你辞职还是被开，都拿不到EI，你还愁什么呢？

回家休息几天，继续找工作，现在工作机会很多！祝你好运！

you will not get EI in either way, that's "fire" not "lay off"

For terminate emplyment, I think if I do not have misconduct, I am still qualify for EI.

被开还是拿的到EI的，从你老板给你的评价来看，当然还要看你干了多久。自己辞的拿不到，因为犯了大错被开的拿不到

我觉得公司是结束你的合同，你也没犯大错，你还是可以领的。

自己辞职好像没法申请EI吧，但是他 FIRE 你的话，通常公司要支付你1周的工资（前提是你已经过了3个月试用期）。如果是试用期内，无论辞职还是被炒掉，据我理解都是没有EI可领的。

for termination no cause, you can get in lieu of notice and severance pay, and if u lucky u still can get EI. it is depend on ur company. Do NOT QUIT CAUSE NOTHING U GET.

as looking for job, not easy as said, when u quit no income no job will be tough. EI does mean something at that time.

自己辞比Fire要好听的多，但是不管是神马，都木有EI

很努力但是 Fail to progress to meet company's standard，那只能说不胜任this job

这是领取EI的条件：
Employment Insurance (EI) provides temporary financial assistance to unemployed Canadians who have lost their job through no fault of their own, while they look for work or upgrade their skills.

Canadians who are sick, pregnant, or caring for a newborn or adopted child, as well as those who must care for a family member who is seriously ill with a significant risk of death, may also be assisted by Employment Insurance.

所以说，就楼主所说的，貌似不可以诶。。

最好去EI office问一下。terminate有时候是可以拿EI的。去年我们就是被terminate的(公司关门了），但是都可以拿EI.

你说的是对的，你仍然可以拿到EI, 因为你尽了你的努力，你没有犯错误。

你在那个公司工作多长时间了，过了考察期没有？如果时间短，建议你以后找工作不要把这个经历写进去。
