-        recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers/ e2 U4 j7 x* V  S' ]- R7 z' V# H 
-        train volunteers for ISP and provide duties 
! o2 e1 u0 l1 H! h3 W" Z: ?4 z2 @-        train volunteers for Centre and provide duties 
) r# F" Y  ]# f; J& C-        provide volunteers for various programs ) y8 f6 n! Q9 b6 k% s, O+ g+ p* p 
-        coordinate, update Volunteer Manual 
& @+ R4 V, @& V/ l. _-        planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation 
) t1 _# a/ N+ S+ v" V-        participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities 
0 f8 ~# D/ b. o-        participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services. K2 _$ `) b. q, q- o% s# P 
-        assist in writing ISP proposals and reports+ t" E. O; o# s+ v/ N* Q! W 
-        provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

-        work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)1 |# n, k- B1 W) H( ?% \! J9 f4 ^) B 
-        promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events  ; G! U  W- t" I# z$ Z, M  h1 l 
-        development and distribution of a volunteer manual  0 _1 r! Q% Z' f 
-        planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers  
9 c) h- f, `- X-        planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers  
' x% ^  c* K4 E- T( K3 G( K-        consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis

-        demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre+ ^4 j  Z3 z$ X0 Z. |

-        degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education

2 R9 h$ y/ S; l- {: ?-        experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services 
" a3 {5 `, Y7 u0 i; w-        leadership skills 
* n+ V! p; a# _8 I+ C-        management and supervision skills# I7 G0 e3 A- U+ f( b) x2 b* q 
-        exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
