- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
1 k0 r; R. J! l) ^- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services; S) B+ \8 Y# y
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services) a1 r* x+ S# y Y% J, ^. D
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
: t7 b+ n. P K) r5 z r- coordinate good will activities
; M+ T- Z. Z0 F" s6 V- coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members5 }4 j( I7 C& z( W
- submit information for community news 5 x' _/ R6 [" {+ d
- prepare and send AGM information to members
7 C. D/ R4 T' X6 R( J7 {- assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.& v3 \% D& Z& N+ Y) ~
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities( R, H6 P6 u2 r, m% d
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre4 `$ {$ r+ \6 a
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
$ `8 U& O- ?+ t- assist in writing proposal for ISP
7 p! B. e3 w- i3 W. [' Z- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
! I/ J- i1 r, ^6 _/ J: P; ]- explore new ideas for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- coordinate good will activities, L# k" e# W- }" {- S- f, n
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications! |. W3 V) h+ a [5 k' e
- degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education , v7 }# n! x3 o1 [" }
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills5 Q3 i' h9 ]& C+ P T+ }$ \
- experience in community work and immigrant services; p& z# }! |) K2 F& |: t4 c5 D
- ability to coordinate workshops and seminars
