Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

Main duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
& R2 G# v, t# y& ]( O( J( Q6 D+ D•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
; x$ n5 h% i7 M( ^  l7 L- ?( F! w•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
0 [. |, q4 c: C•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
8 n0 J* w0 O1 w! v/ F•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
7 u4 z1 Y& M6 P/ I•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
2 Y; A/ e9 w% g5 e( L7 W•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

, ~; W- t. s* m' P! R. j- u) y•        Completion of secondary education is required
/ p: C, I% r5 u5 `) E' }•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
" L, j4 K7 ]+ {; M•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
1 d. F, @7 h$ B: y- H- t3 k•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
