9 C9 ]/ L$ m8 }2 ~6 a) ]Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 1 M, u' V: _+ W( n" m% ~+ u

Key Responsibilities:
+ u: k. `+ }, V2 ~# k' R• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person; C. B& o/ F) e) I+ i
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST& ]$ O3 x2 O' C, e
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately$ b+ N; O# O& B, v6 S1 M
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter* Z( L; t" V6 G. ^
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
9 ?3 \& Z, s1 M# S- C7 f7 J• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker3 _ U6 [4 g# E4 D: e
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
' b' Z1 x7 C. a0 x: c• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters8 |6 [2 i H- n- h7 F7 U
• Maintain front counter service files

$ t6 ^0 m6 P3 QKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:$ X1 S9 F( a# ^# H4 d
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
, W* X) M4 Y( }3 T$ g" [' T; L) [. L• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
- W# l3 |( V$ o& R. E• Good English writing and oral communication skills
: A# n0 H& a2 `$ \( Y• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
& U+ Z3 w9 C, ~5 n1 d: w! y! ^• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook* i7 A4 D+ ?4 g& E6 v
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately [8 j: F& U7 |2 D7 V
• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds

' H9 Q4 N6 H& `3 N2 J• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
: V$ N2 X4 t9 X! I• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment8 q1 b' q8 J9 y" i, _
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
/ q1 e/ @9 q# e; H• Ability to work well under minimal supervision. T0 h7 G$ s$ I E. Q F8 E! m9 j
