m- f1 A. k. t& o! ^- J( vWithin the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. # F0 X7 W2 \1 ?4 ~0 B

7 Z$ |8 A0 c: k# I• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
% V3 K1 }3 T$ S1 n! S. l' E F5 d• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST" m1 Q3 n! @# [) l
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
" z9 x2 H1 n1 ^• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter g6 D! s/ Y- y' W# c
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
1 Q5 k- C$ K+ G B k& q) K- _• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
; f& c3 i; L7 ]9 i$ M5 {- T• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events' [! ?% x: u J+ q8 O
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events5 @; S& I1 @3 N0 k( d: i I
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
3 ~* H# {! u! c) R" [, J# ~; G• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters; P1 _/ S" @3 U; P G; V5 A
• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:6 f3 S7 c) ~* t8 L
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person. {8 u. {8 X! Q3 {) c2 k4 J
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
/ h4 E; b8 `+ i6 g/ ?; Z; u2 W1 _• Good English writing and oral communication skills
9 G, v8 B, M. w2 f1 K• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients3 b+ |* B* r' L% @* q4 v( j A1 g* d( L
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
9 h9 h. q# E9 h9 N. h/ n4 H0 W• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:" B( s! {# x" S+ g: U
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience & s4 c* L8 i- S% U
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
* F* y/ d b( d• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism" ^( b/ I0 i2 V" H! Q% T! F+ G1 F
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision4 C3 ~/ @: N' D: T
