8 P: @- @7 F3 O. q4 q, @) u8 }Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. ; h+ j* J, d, x0 N2 w

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
% @6 k' V: m5 @• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST+ f F9 j: N( N: m' }, E+ N+ o
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
( B1 p, a: v1 R! L' J• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
! ?, z; M; n/ R# R- m+ [9 F• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents+ U$ {5 r2 i+ d) o# B; ^5 l H/ N
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
! u8 m: U2 @- E. _. n) P• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events( C/ |) t: n( q6 q; y7 ?
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events& M( P6 Z! a; S) u; g
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
. S- d' u+ r) h, W• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
) ~. `5 I$ j6 _) H2 Y& O w• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
5 ~ D- z4 `) z) a# c• Good English writing and oral communication skills
# u( l" i1 w4 f+ E• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
1 z, K! y# [9 x0 V3 @6 t• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook! [3 b% Y& G% w2 A: S/ g
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately ) G5 A9 A6 P9 [8 ^- E5 I

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience

• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism) P1 }8 c$ T* v' M) I$ w9 w
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision, T3 g& A: E9 g
