Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.- b3 w9 V" G1 ^' T7 f+ n
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:% Y' b9 z: f) P9 w+ T" E
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
1 h, E7 {# A6 C/ ]6 U, n•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.7 f9 t5 Q7 u+ L
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.7 s! q& U. h3 d! g% _+ o+ w5 ]
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.9 ]+ g( b; s, w+ i
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. , S- |' F2 N" z' [5 X$ u
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
, v( u, ^8 a, [- j% F% R3 y1 i" ~; r•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
8 q8 C& q2 s. ~+ A2 P•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
% b+ ]. r4 @& x. d9 `1 }& `•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).) D' ]( `/ G  E/ O
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.% n2 I/ q) o+ i' m
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.4 n: G: n, j  |; P8 V& S7 @. }
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
3 o) M4 l4 q: F: X: G•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.* H3 q$ F+ I  r) ?& z
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
1 C9 j6 y" k1 J. z  H$ P, oRequirements:
) D$ B3 d9 D; N( Q( s•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.   r1 ~6 Z- y9 @
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
; Q2 ^. v- G: k8 n7 v! r  ]•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
( U, L( ^. e' V: v$ d, k•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ _2 X, E. |. _& N•        CHRP Designation is an asset.) A2 u2 B- f* O! Z
