Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:4 r0 L/ ^ P: H& w

• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: U" e# L T6 X3 _* G3 _7 j• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
* t& `; c* S# F( q% [% j0 R• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.. t6 y- t# C- q: o8 _* j
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 0 ^4 x. o# p) Y# S6 S/ [) W T. e
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.4 r! G" ?7 n G; i/ O' M. o
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
: l# {" E5 F8 L7 K- j• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
/ C2 ~/ N" K/ \; Y5 {% b; H4 f• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).( s$ s' Z) b! N& D) d- D
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.2 `# u* ?7 B0 K+ v& T+ Z4 I
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

Requirements:0 T' D. }0 T. E" u1 g% I0 f
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
5 X3 u0 C& i( t$ M4 Y• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. , q: r) F3 Q2 ]( y+ v
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
! x% O, ?5 r+ ^! E• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
5 m/ |- L& R# Z1 Q- W• CHRP Designation is an asset.
