• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
( Z! [, T; j1 p" [9 L: C• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components7 o0 W5 z$ F# H& F X$ ^! n! |
• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers) J/ F) n7 @( q' k4 f
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams4 z2 } \) h) @6 q' o8 U S
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place3 G6 k! @9 ^9 z8 ~' |( b& E" `9 f
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
, m' [4 {3 m3 Z! M• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools. V+ r: F. A) f( j+ q
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
4 O$ x0 }2 h ]: z• Mix paint, blend and match colors

* u5 T& I- t; \% C Z• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs

Education and Experience Requirements:

A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade ( O& C+ A( L1 n
