Scope and Purpose of Job
5 u$ P, @. l6 u2 Y$ H9 L* x$ nEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
1 Y! K. r, R4 m' m4 d( ]+ W•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
' c  F0 o: N  g8 l•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
, S7 w, c. ~  Ho        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
, U& p/ k9 z' B$ m•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
% L3 P0 M$ @. @( w$ no        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
+ L/ F/ V* L7 b5 @9 w  s+ v•        Track and report all warranty failures
* s8 W% f# S* O! z7 ^  Bo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
! e4 R/ ~- M* Z  c0 f& wo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

4 h3 B# I, S/ d- B5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
; y6 W2 E2 ~$ n/ X4 JList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
7 n' r- l0 x% T& Z1 I# b5 A- Q2 V•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
: b, j' ?/ L! U3 n9 F•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
) k( k% t: x, s) ?& J, ]$ G9 p3 l•        Ability to travel worldwide.
