Scope and Purpose of Job G- m. O) {/ |
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.+ F# d/ F3 @0 L% Q5 ^1 c
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.( a( q- g3 o1 g" j+ y: ~+ b
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems# Q) r9 P2 T$ g) ?% o4 B' x, J- s: h$ ?
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release& l$ u- w8 D" [* L* _) J- `
• Assist where needed in application questions.
$ y$ |/ Y2 B+ I• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.$ S- k; t" S! ~+ F2 Y
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
& t3 D2 j8 c) N) b3 L; v) D, Ko Assist in information gather for any new product idea.$ E/ Y' N8 P4 n, |1 X9 @8 m& |
o Assist in writing and new product specification! J8 f2 K' n: f
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training., y8 v% m' K+ U# }; j5 L6 z$ m8 t+ b
• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
