The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

& Y' C9 w' A8 z: Z& Z1 e* HResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
+ v: `) {: ^4 J( \• Program implementation
* N8 k* Q- v# C6 e" D• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
- a' \) l3 l5 k8 ^• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
' B" b2 E+ X9 O7 a4 h• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
/ l3 f6 O% Z% C" j6 }; D( C  oEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
$ U9 l0 k6 v. e, D% ?$ X% s- o• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
( }4 U" U9 z* }3 V& f- o2 |• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
/ Y/ {# @5 [. f( m7 I4 C& X% F' h• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
8 {  N, c# [+ O• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
5 }- G" D+ H  a/ {8 ]• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

( d. _* X% G6 f9 VSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
