The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
/ S* K# p9 }6 J: S) x+ z• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
; [8 l# k' f% Z3 Z• Program implementation
" E( I6 a1 @' w0 U4 F0 l• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
4 H2 a/ ~, J( _, y) Y+ h4 V9 C& r• Medication Administration
  K, k) s! ~2 ~$ d; `• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
6 F8 Z" R! F1 Z' Q$ h7 B) N' u8 YEducation
5 X1 O! p" {( K/ |* C• Completion of a high school diploma
" F) j+ P' s7 N: c6 B8 o• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
7 t7 A9 h, k# ^5 p. \4 k' Z1 ~Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
. _" w3 Y1 o- D8 G+ f0 t1 Y• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
; Y+ d4 T7 S5 d8 r; V• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
+ e# Z* L& I: W! _1 L1 ]2 q; P• Good verbal and written communication skills
7 H) L; q$ |+ i6 q* \• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
