The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
7 c1 M) V% X8 x• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
/ @1 ?6 {: {% |& r0 u, B• Behavior management
+ i( @6 h( s) }1 |+ [4 B+ b• Medication Administration
2 i  m' j! p2 t0 L• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
7 m8 G% w; c( r- o  cEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
