and Canadian-Asian culture are some of the ways in which this goal is achieved.

Regular Spring and Fall Group Sessions: runs on alternate Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.
# G: w/ ?' G* i; {Summer Group Sessions: 2 consecutive weeks in July from 9 to 5 p.m. daily

Who can participate?: n" U& \: {3 N8 x& V9 C6 M
Asian youth aged 11 to 15, who are new immigrants or locally born Asian living in Edmonton or surrounding area.
% K- \ P4 e* T; s" H7 j. p) a1 K* ]* D+ J
What is the cost of joining the T.A.N.G. program?* g5 h0 g/ p3 Q
It is FREE and space is limited to 15 to 20 participants per group.

^- O% G5 s; y/ F* q) i7 e, P& XVolunteer’s Duties:! x# ^+ i" \2 ?2 _2 r7 K6 `
$ T7 L; R: i4 t$ V& c Distribute promotional flyers to schools, churches, communities and social services agencies
8 ~8 v7 V4 N" t0 L9 Z/ H- m( U/ v Facilitate and/or coordinate activity-based function such as to host a gym day or sport tournaments or workshop on personal growth development
! |2 d( U" A; l# i3 W Facilitate or assist in ice-breakers and/or other activities+ ]" Q9 C/ w8 j
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
4 v) ^9 C F l% r Research activities related to the sessions’ topic
$ g% ]' s& _) C* O2 J Enforce safety rules during program sessions and fieldtrips l' a3 ?1 K4 l* t ?' W# o
 Assist in program planning

" L) j2 g5 K8 O4 p2 oVolunteer Commitment:

4 d- L j3 U, M7 f6 G On-going volunteers (we have volunteers dedicated themselves to the program for almost 4 years)
4 X1 h! r3 N' l1 F One time volunteers: minimum commitment is one seasonal session, i.e. 8 – 10 sessions in Spring, Fall or Summer
