Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
) Y0 Q' s( W/ a6 U) MCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
6 a1 P( {, x: ^& r& {) fTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
  @/ X9 Q  @# G*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
' r8 x; D) K7 X" T0 _3 nTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
3 w8 _$ e( y6 [# @! \7 x+ ~' R  q8 w
* a3 N/ N0 V2 A9 c( ^ Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
1 r% r5 C* X9 q% L  g0 R Take attendance if available
" z* C- L/ D1 W" K$ [* A) R Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
2 ^( [- b' K$ l  h# k6 Y$ v. o Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
. d3 E$ j$ E0 h. p# B6 q Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
/ X( o/ b2 \: }7 W# ^7 Q' ?2 U. } Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
( m: S4 h% N# Z+ [  N Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
. }& T' O4 T& K  c8 t A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
( o0 k6 b0 ^  R" X1 n Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
1 K9 l# N; B; y Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
