Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
7 s4 q6 }) L: j& C( \- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
: E3 I* P2 t$ f' w6 `' r1 i- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.
# R4 E& ~; u8 j$ @- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
