1. It's cool.; D7 g  i3 t4 ?+ v# L# N2 I
  T' P- }8 @5 ^7 ]) P4 m
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
: |8 ~- U4 a$ e+ a3 n    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)8 S. `- A# L& W( r9 e. R+ P; V
/ n4 h% v: J7 N/ ~; @/ t" ~* o
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
    She (He) was cool in the past.
* B4 c% X- `. U) u    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
( R1 ~8 c9 Q% s2 M$ P$ {+ [    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
+ w$ Y/ b( q) s( c( r
% S) a  o# ?. t- X但是如果说:Are you cool?
/ E3 t$ r2 y0 [" G* r' v' L( }    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not . e  j4 N& e; m, u
    emotional.
( l0 z- _! t7 c& Q7 ]9 O( D1 g ( c7 p% O; O2 m  V! @, y9 S# Q$ h
2. Are you trippin'?8 X- v" Y! I; x) \; F: {
/ O$ i1 E' I7 p, g: D
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
5 l. |" T4 o  L    They are trippin'. (= tripping)
, y5 S( K/ G$ ^  `% u    She (he) is trippin'. * c0 V9 {( v) `7 T* H6 X$ t
Mr. A must be trippin'. 6 R9 p  t# A, ]* _$ W  o
; H, b" h3 m7 K
/ s& @* {7 S; {( }0 Y  k: x2 Q$ T% Q% L: [3. He is a nerd
/ A+ p% J, a' w+ q" \6 j2 m  L, {$ X( F, v) }8 n" _* m( R
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
    He used to be a nerd in high school
! \% r9 C, L) f' T/ T% b4 }# {
$ _# C  N6 @+ ^/ h* P4. Yo baby
' {7 ]$ g3 ~# c* A  {' r: c2 B, T
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
3 x; M, R1 V2 P, j- X0 n  R5 F; D    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
; r$ e  I5 c6 g* H& D/ d. V( wMay I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
1 `  h; v, X( }; M7 e    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) 2 ^: A- b; o+ H8 X

5 B* ?% q' B1 R' H5. She is a ho* v2 X0 c$ p0 ^% G0 i% U
0 M7 H+ M; q( c$ S5 @/ L2 Y# p8 e
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
/ t1 w3 R8 ]* {; H9 @6 F    They are (were) hos. 0 ]- r6 s# u! Z- k
    There are quite a few hos in high schools. 但是如果用 whore,是指妓女,男人需要付钱的。(a girl or woman is paid for sex.)
$ Y8 K$ m5 d3 }6 |) \3 \4 }" }4 ]/ {+ q( U
5 I% `# P8 \: b% J6. Catch you later!; y( U2 f) d4 P, f# v5 T, Q( h

(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等) ) T* L; ~! l6 r
有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
) U7 }1 R% L" m7 m* B% w# q(我要走了,再谈吧!)
