- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
W. K2 }& r" I, N8 I" z- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
W0 S) q# k" w/ y6 ^+ C# q- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- x$ Z% H: }) a8 ^/ s( Y3 o, I- provide support to ISP staff
9 c3 B% W2 e& R9 K. L. Q ~- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members1 w3 Z* b" }- X$ K
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities! T1 ?" }" f7 S/ ?% u
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated. n7 R+ B2 r3 K" j( P1 `( H
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants$ d0 L% A- C; K" B# {
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals& f* D, L6 F( w' C& F' i
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder% F, N; w& l- s! e- }7 E) n
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.

- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned& g$ a/ u M0 x2 B7 E

% a5 A5 B" N, i( j Y0 d- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
- d' ^9 ?+ Q( m9 `- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available, f, f* m' _6 _1 p! \: A
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers# ]' Q, v5 s2 O$ \7 p3 v
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
) O2 z. d' S# ~3 N- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)1 X- ?2 y m7 s' J# S" ?% K
- good interpersonal and people skills. Y7 x7 n" Z" w- s
- good organizational and coordination skills
