8 [ O: ]4 F) V6 C& U3 O- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
2 j w& O, ^- R. ~$ U8 r- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.# D; @; Y( y: ~9 `
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP+ w% W5 a4 B, C) K$ k' G3 R4 c
- provide support to ISP staff
! \: c" G3 s% J! F3 m9 P- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members# M/ T& J4 }' T, e
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities; c3 _# w) V7 R' o: Q4 x W9 u
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
+ k$ E( h) S* q% ?! E' M- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants* o$ v5 y5 t3 `. N( h
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
( k5 T6 n; P2 i1 s0 U- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
. L# i( B h5 n/ e; D, ]- [8 C- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
# ]; u C7 t% ^6 S$ ]- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities3 F1 p! M3 j" i2 g2 g) V5 q
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned2 ~8 K* O* P; F2 P0 @ F5 P0 u$ E

$ m4 v4 M8 g6 M6 wQualifications
$ y* l- A' d8 B7 \- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
$ o1 y. }9 V) G: C3 S3 }- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available' H4 j& V0 @+ P+ }- Z7 A
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers5 n) M' A, x) G$ |7 s" U* ]
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software% I' a& D7 g* U+ G
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)# q4 J# h3 h5 k
- good interpersonal and people skills
