- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
i3 h0 C7 p: R6 n4 y( L. m% x% T- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
* Y) L4 a2 t$ r+ _0 ?) w- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
+ L# C5 [4 k% W r# L% D- provide support to ISP staff
/ b1 \3 L& U: B& F, E! J0 e- n+ P- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
' m0 V( @/ P4 X# Q8 b/ J1 I: d- |- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
% s$ g6 W1 d/ ~# b( x- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
8 ]( b8 ] i3 E5 R8 t G- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants! g2 W+ M& H7 z: k& C& H, ^, X4 y) e2 f
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals2 U$ l" p+ h8 o# B1 N4 E
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
5 @6 s- J7 X. b% u/ I- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc." R0 u( r) F; t/ ^2 g) c' Q8 K
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications
& t5 T* L2 c5 s, g- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
" H4 ^. @3 N! a# p( J5 P- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available) d5 m+ m8 n" g6 H- @/ u* D/ N
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers9 c9 B% h" ~: G* q
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
$ z0 {$ a* A0 q- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
