I have 12 years of consulting work experience in municipal engineering in china followed by 1.5 years of consulting work experience in canada. I can use AutoCAD. I will move to edmonton next month. is it easy or difficult to find a job for a civil or municipal engineer in Alberta? Thanks!

You can go to their web site www.mmm.ca. They are looking for a lot of municipal engineers in your area of expertise. Both in Edmonton and Calgary.

go to www.acec.ca ------>Member firm ------>City----->input Edmonton
you will find most engineering consulting companies in Edmonton. Check AE, UMA, Stantec, Earth Tech, AMEC. They may have municipal engineer position opening.
