Sorry I can't type Chinese. A call center agent told me that Edmonton local office needed to verify my file then schedule an interview in 4~6 months. I'm not sure what local office will do in the next 4~6 months. Background check?

I mailed out a copy of my boarding passes together with other application docs to Processing Centre in order to prove I had met residency obligation. Processing Centre approved my application and sent the new card to local office in time. I didn't know local office would verify it again.
