Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
2 f: Y! j. M- p) B) ~/ V) TProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required7 j% b E4 r; n2 I$ o Z6 I8 m% F
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed/ J* Q+ d3 n% G$ L0 V* A1 D+ ~% E7 n% U0 _/ w

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred7 D* M8 r/ @) c. E. o. X
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
* ]5 }% a& u- zSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
( y& D6 j: G. E+ e) _4 aKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred8 Q1 n. a. k+ r5 q b6 s
