9 a0 i5 p, I! s$ d5 fAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
@) E+ }0 P( n4 A1 zProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
9 s/ F d4 F; G2 q0 O8 }Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications
# R8 h& `( M4 ~ N0 s* aDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred+ h% e6 H$ N* F9 E3 ?
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
3 p7 i" l" F$ L0 I+ e. d4 q1 |Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset9 l8 Q3 h; ~) y
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred; s: M+ G) a6 h9 R s8 e
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
