Duties
3 i5 \) k" H3 Z2 H U6 X8 KAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
V+ d% L/ a3 e- rProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required0 h$ p& K6 w4 I; b4 t' l5 t/ R4 H" L
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed# @& d* i5 e4 _9 T
Performs related tasks as needed

! } E, I* Y/ Z# c) x; M( c1 A9 E. hDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
4 G8 D1 P: H8 tDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
4 k2 l! u8 |2 ? E3 I0 K0 \Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset; x2 E) w5 J R4 B
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred$ C5 A8 D3 t C% `3 ^5 S* @, `
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit# L2 x; R, C, E( h9 a
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages- d+ E& U2 R' _( M) T% s: h
