Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
- t R9 x/ F9 Z* u! {9 @; v: WProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
0 @6 U' a$ h: Z5 c3 J0 LPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

1 W5 Z9 `6 {# V# ]Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred" t7 ^6 M' E: w; g1 ~# I9 O9 Z
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
' Q" U) {+ x* Y9 V8 G4 q2 k7 cSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
0 R1 A( J) v* w+ m3 MKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred9 n. i( C7 u2 a5 M
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit

Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
