  Duties
6 O: |, d. B, x- o% [Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
5 E% _0 |, Z9 I  c2 y6 t# |2 PProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
4 h  y- }' D, i% z3 j( PPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
Performs related tasks as needed

7 m" o9 q( J$ r0 k6 c4 kDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
$ n5 t) J* O, v0 gDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
; M2 B* ^- h6 [) B$ Y  o( m! LSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
& U) f( |6 }" Z- r% N; Z/ HKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
# |+ b3 ?+ [, b! {Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
