  Duties
6 v8 ?2 N% i1 j0 R( ?8 y1 P) HAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
) ?7 ^1 e; l1 E) ^5 \& GProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
  W+ l7 `! a( i3 ~1 GPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
- j6 \: E+ b9 T4 v1 d- LPerforms related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
: O: E" @- m) U) H) Q$ s3 cDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
; v5 R. T, I3 c7 q- hSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
' c5 w- d4 e2 K& C# J/ JKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
9 q2 u6 S' p* r" G, NRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
" I$ u9 I7 b* {" ?/ AAbility to adapt in a high technology research environment
