Responsibilities
6 f9 m" ]+ F% i% X+ `1 J/ U8 ]" R■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
9 w! X8 v; D% t& i4 G" d( g■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.7 } A X: T! C% D$ X/ u
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships. v6 x2 g* U. N) V. A
Experience and Education:2 \8 m& O( V/ X& n" r! a
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.7 L: \( y3 Q- |
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.4 q" K$ K6 l/ U/ n
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.1 l# |0 p$ [# v, }: T: ]( u% x# n
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
+ G- Y! u0 G z; G& c■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
0 L9 E* L! R: o+ N: b, z; f■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.% ^0 V8 C f0 B* v& ?
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing., m* @7 C* o. {" ^9 `. z1 s
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
