Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
) @% X% _' ]) {$ J, Y; @7 l■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
2 \2 L3 C+ \' }5 b( p) J' G+ G! m■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
6 s( A+ T, ^9 x+ P5 ?. ~! N■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
4 n- h+ t" F9 ]2 c■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
