 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
8 T) {  i$ r; ^+ e! M9 L, }+ z' T Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
. G. Y. q4 d9 _9 Y Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
6 |- y! o* Y4 ^; x+ x/ A- G Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
6 s1 a1 u6 L& g- {* N Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
5 A' ?& V3 n+ p2 u! u Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

  N" Q& p; C9 O- b  h: kQualifications:

6 T6 A# T2 f9 B$ j" D; t9 h Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
7 |( B5 |6 T2 s2 v7 N8 ~6 l$ z Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
+ [) n" a  t; x0 ^. \; v Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
! r* I+ \9 }# F) _# P Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
4 I/ J; C  ~! p. o$ yThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
2 ~4 K3 X9 b! RThere is a 3-month probationary period.
