 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
5 X* n; S9 v! R$ Z- h" }$ l- @ Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
3 u) N; G$ H! L& H8 [0 a, ]4 @ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

+ `* `, y! }8 U+ V: I! p Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.8 n I* a1 Z- {( q% ] R
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
+ T+ m- g0 n) m7 y$ \, [2 V2 g& S Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.! O2 n. i" r4 a. }4 a

0 y v9 Q; u5 u1 o4 H Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.# G: A( K' \- u+ \1 g
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.. [' X5 u ?2 q$ A% x, m
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.* [+ J$ J: B: b K) V
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.5 p9 Q, J) {% y" k, e* z: M
 Knowledge of community resources.7 ?+ q' f9 N* U0 ] b# R0 G" W
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
4 x! u( ^ y0 u& ]% L( @ Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:* I- J: R4 o7 K
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
