 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
5 X* n; S9 v! R$ Z- h" }$ l- @ Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
3 u) N; G$ H! L& H8 [0 a, ]4 @ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
: V2 r- Y- M1 Q" I6 m Completing required paperwork.
+ `* `, y! }8 U+ V: I! p Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
+ T+ m- g0 n) m7 y$ \, [2 V2 g& S Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
2 t7 F& \. }" |! P' _ Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
) N5 Q0 t! t, T9 K- v Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

) j0 L( t/ B# k6 `: iQualifications:

0 y  v9 Q; u5 u1 o4 H Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
4 x! u( ^  y0 u& ]% L( @ Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
7 Y1 l5 r& C" ?! ~. |There is a 3-month probationary period.
