( d1 g* u& x  M8 k6 E* a' T Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
# t; w! S0 Q- I* X9 K3 _ Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
2 J# I( }  n' H Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
6 H$ D) l6 h# e: Y" P: x  R Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
5 c& y- w% w4 R8 Y6 z Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
5 u  n$ O0 S# O1 Z+ w" S Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
6 |* C( g& e$ [5 S* Y Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
. H( H9 @3 u9 G3 ^2 n2 ^. f Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

6 l8 g% C6 S* GThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
