( d1 g* u& x M8 k6 E* a' T Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
# t; w! S0 Q- I* X9 K3 _ Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
2 J# I( } n' H Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.: V( _$ Y8 F# u7 T
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.5 d. \7 O1 R7 r1 W7 G
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.! i$ u8 r! E9 j3 B) e/ p& s$ i
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.- W0 V% e0 Z1 I+ O" @
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis., |( D {$ p+ y/ k0 _! C" T

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.* D3 N+ u, }) q; O: Q
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
5 u n$ O0 S# O1 Z+ w" S Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.- o/ y# k- ]6 q# ^& K6 u! T
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.( Z0 R+ A$ K( d$ t z
 Knowledge of community resources.

6 l8 g% C6 S* GThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. . F1 P4 ?7 l( f) D
There is a 3-month probationary period.
