 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.& Z* u) ?! s& ?" I. a; ^- w
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
, y) o B* V' G l% d9 Y/ b Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
1 R& ?# Z2 S: ?3 E# E Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
# r/ j2 Y( U2 ~; \8 Q* k3 u* N Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.$ C* [& }+ n# Y0 z7 s6 y
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
/ M+ G, A& N7 S1 @$ K) L# y Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
9 s3 Q: m2 C( g% h; j Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
! o ?: _: f+ g- e7 q Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.- z' Y# { _8 y5 e9 q( d6 L$ v
 Knowledge of community resources.3 O. q1 d$ v3 ~: x4 w
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
9 N0 ~+ s9 f% T' h- G Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. . K/ {0 q$ S; i0 m7 y
