Key Responsibilities & Duties:

( f t3 d; X2 w7 e$ _) D l Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
/ j9 v! i' I; r `( f$ T, g Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
7 Y$ n) \- K* h. j n3 y7 H3 W1 z" w Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
6 _6 c' j+ P' c! k6 s+ ]% m Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.) E* y7 {- v' o1 g5 D w. x

 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
3 q1 R3 K" |4 E) S2 \7 e! R Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

: g$ w' F: f, V9 DThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
