The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 9 ?% o5 i7 P: H E; _- e
5 S9 K3 c! j+ T8 ?1 k! ~$ p K1 aThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:9 v+ Y1 x4 o; F6 [$ a7 {2 G h+ u
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
* V h! Z3 _! v. f• Answer multi line telephone system

& u6 {5 ]3 u+ @! f2 N• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads9 a4 `+ B# g u4 l
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits6 |0 Q. j5 ~ Q& C6 z! I
• Input and manage high volume of data9 _" q7 W" G3 k! _ \
• Update and maintain databases! z* @9 q- E" q7 g
• Generate monthly reports and statistics' I6 l4 X: {4 r, L/ g# [
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation# G+ |. w* q2 H
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
3 I- S; w& `/ N4 `; N9 ^. a; G• Write and revise business correspondence and forms/ E, i( K& K9 T
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors5 Y" D4 G U) x
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre/ O8 R) U$ u+ I. U" O
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients; k% e$ l+ {5 j2 {

Qualifications: }) l1 l% v5 m# P' M0 P' Z' A7 i

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
! G& H% I# w% K• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
! a5 j) t/ V+ A6 y• Excellent verbal and written communication skills1 E1 C2 `3 u8 i
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work) ~) v* G! o9 I1 [
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population" ~; t: e; G* w9 F0 E+ G
• Strong customer service skills

+ K$ L& o! M- n: w* h y• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
