The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 1 ^- }; h6 w# Y/ ^4 S4 t

3 F9 B' b7 [3 Z* e2 A• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required0 x5 w$ D" `3 K6 P0 `6 E) g) n9 G
• Answer multi line telephone system" [* t# ?% i! j4 H4 [% B3 G/ Q1 s0 Q

Administration:3 }/ n2 o3 V2 l# e) G1 W5 n
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads( r: a6 _0 g0 ?8 N6 T" q" Z. s% z
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
$ R1 r4 w3 g6 c4 M• Input and manage high volume of data
6 k( @7 S6 r W% S! h; `' m! D0 P• Update and maintain databases9 k: D0 c% y# D- M: x ^! k
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
4 ~1 o. r! ], z2 f1 i• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation0 h+ t+ d( I. c% L) ^& o
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits; l/ I, ?2 S: B) E, s& t
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
5 N g' q- Q- Q7 X1 ]& v• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors' Y# [; } z/ G# o0 n* ^, R
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
, I" O8 O% v( o, g" o3 j• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure% z( v; J1 b$ O. U' \5 t$ a- D: R \
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
. Z b7 N9 f3 D0 Y2 J" S) A3 d n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills8 ~* i; y) h: C, J( k3 [7 [
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work0 Y, _3 V+ w& o" M/ J, I
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population$ U1 p3 |1 W: k5 o& N: T
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
