The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. + {) @# D4 y+ g! s5 r9 w2 H
( u: d0 p4 |4 Q5 L( l4 L# H1 w7 xThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

' n/ |; R ]9 F: N0 g1 ^• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required# A& I9 w s7 q9 f. `
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:& z1 s9 @/ ?1 I
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
; L7 c0 x$ c1 U$ R0 m2 B% ^• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
' B) ^! b; O/ Y' b• Input and manage high volume of data
* A- V, ?5 Q( k: m) p: P: w( F• Update and maintain databases7 `+ n# l F) c3 _0 W
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
: F# G( ]! h' b1 L; t• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation+ h6 Y8 J+ A! R4 r/ i0 g; G
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
6 Y- e# N6 a3 f• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
$ F# `1 z. f# A. J; p7 V• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
. j i2 w# i) v/ V• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre# l# z8 {- g& I7 r; v2 b2 \8 g5 W
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients& x: T; H, K( o4 \. Q- M- f) Q

Qualifications:
( g& K8 |/ G2 _ U! z5 z# `( V( m# p9 }1 T$ H* C2 @ b
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure ^+ p6 i/ N* w
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 6 Y$ a* [* v# e' l8 s
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* P% b* @7 r" y/ T# X• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work; i/ ~2 H k9 g& `1 I
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
2 ?) k3 H$ v2 N. i l8 g• Strong customer service skills7 p4 A1 P6 E, e
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
5 c V4 e# y9 y9 C• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
