2 r" z1 K! Y$ C& g) |  r4 fI went to a Toyota dealership for purchasing a new vehicle. They provided me a package for the rust protection. It is called Electromagnetic Surface Protector(ESP) 电子防锈. Costs $799 adding tax. The equipment for the ESP is a small box (about 10 cm x 10 cm x 5cm). There are two wires connecting to the vehicle’s battery from ESP box.  And there are three wires connecting to the body of the vehicle.

有没有那位有电子防锈经验的,可否谈谈.

My husband said he has one on his truck. He says it only costs about 300$ in Canadaian Tire a couple of years ago, but only 200$ when it is on sale.

this equipment is good for the big city road condition, like as Toronto, but not good like Edmonton.

$ ]% O! E. n; i" [& IIn 2006 when he bought his first truck, the dealer offered him same package of ESP for $799 too. He didnt take the deal from dealer since he knew that this ESP only costs $299 in Canadian Tire. He bought one at Canadian Tire and installed on the truck by himself. Last year when he traded in the old truck, he moved the ESP from old truck to new one. In this spring, some one scratched his new truck by key badly but so far there is no rust appears on it yet. So he believes the little box works very well.
An instruction comes with ESP will tell you details for installing. Any problems, just feel free to send me message here.
By the way, Canadian Tire does on sale a couple of time every year, you might get this box for 199$ if you are lucky.
