Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

Key Responsibilities:

! x! _! Y; i: r* VWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
( _8 i& E% e3 e0 Q6 N( m- `# tMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications

Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
; K0 {1 ]7 u+ D  l. V4 aMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
$ g/ M+ Y0 n) i( {% |Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
- w1 n* g& d/ M+ A% ]% m- `Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
1 W4 `+ m. v% _3 ^) h2 d  AUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
+ f6 `* e# s8 |; k4 b- ^; kCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
8 D, u0 W% |/ c! C9 V: ~" WAbility to communicate with all levels of management
