• Process research equipment design;
. A2 f5 J! M+ U" o• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;7 e/ t% U) e7 o( u: }5 N, C
• Equipment fabrication guidance;4 P2 G3 T' w" I: K: ^+ S
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

5 K$ y" C2 o0 N# }8 JQualifications:
i4 [* E8 F" \/ @• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. $ [( L5 c3 q5 ?
• Equipment design experience is required;
# |! `2 l6 i1 `! J* s9 f# G• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;+ D5 k% b4 a5 t% n; |6 k; N
• Familiar with CAD software;
$ r' J8 z7 Z" n" Y" n* O5 y7 Q, Q2 j• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;* q8 w1 h5 k" X# O
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.7 J3 I, i1 O8 ]5 z7 F+ _7 L

Compensation:
+ O9 E7 y' _/ jSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 7 v1 y$ m/ h. k
