Major Responsibilities:9 W. u5 P. l7 F U j: C
• Process research equipment design;
' `& a# c7 e; R9 G, l• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
7 ?) l& }9 ]" Y! k• Equipment fabrication guidance;1 u P8 O" Z; |' ?5 S
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
5 W9 _8 P0 U8 ?0 N. d; A- I' X* x• Others.

Qualifications:
- E; F; t) d) A1 g- E$ D• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. . Y: C% F9 d* n! B
• Equipment design experience is required;
1 h' y- S* i# ^' M: e• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
* |! b, b8 L2 H0 A0 F• Familiar with CAD software;
; b3 g4 z# q. `4 R• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;' b4 B+ S/ `; e/ v9 _
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.$ G# g1 J& z6 f9 ~: {

Compensation:
* g7 V, A: ~2 h5 l, DSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
