Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
: b. X6 ]2 l: }! WThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
% q+ s3 B; ?7 G# f. O: IŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
4 Q  Z$ k2 n$ N' v: `, }the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
* v- m( X4 X' r3 p% esupport;
# Z6 D7 H1 m6 ~) q2 |Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
6 q1 B6 R  f# m; |: bimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
  X& s  e7 a  o, S5 z6 ~Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
% }2 V! ^3 n2 H8 R( x- w7 ^Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
9 X4 _! [  Z0 seducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
6 |. j: O0 l5 J; Q: a0 |Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
3 ~- t# Z. C7 x6 j1 r' oLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
( u2 @" d7 J: S, t8 P" d. S2 D) wdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
