Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
" o3 |4 I7 }* v+ H( {Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical

Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
/ @- A( q6 ?+ q: T5 u! y3 A" nŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
: S; z) B7 t4 u8 v( v6 F+ DŸ Other duties as required.

  z, Y- j( A  }Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
+ W9 v5 c$ V$ G2 d) \Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
5 g4 o: x5 q% C: X0 lŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
1 Z( D& Y# n5 h4 M8 ?( [! CŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
- S; w/ a& V) g6 X$ Lverbal and written.
  @& d2 J7 E, v0 d, VLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
4 g# T" g. _: l3 B$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
