Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
6 b: k4 v" l. ]# W6 W3 r6 zManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* M8 F) D% z$ v  J: N% Z8 B/ Cment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
: g% _$ |0 p. s$ }. g7 O3 s, Gthe organization;
. _" X5 v6 g# Q5 \9 p/ L& UŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
+ P8 f; o4 M' A8 v% h+ M& dŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
% _3 D+ n5 P, U) csupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 n9 b1 Z# m* U$ w5 M+ HŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
2 Y% t" r; A6 FQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
$ p1 ]/ m7 t, C; u8 g! T2 h+ fŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
' s7 C4 p8 ?4 Y' ^: Y1 Cverbal and written.
  I( X2 k: N: aLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
# o# e: h2 O9 L- X) z4 A6 q$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
& y, a0 C) d/ Z5 G$ x) ~# X) ^- GIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
/ \, d, {4 u$ i1 J' btime of interview.
