Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
$ z4 {+ T" a0 x8 n( U. lManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
: i, P" ]6 p& K. f  Cment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 o5 i2 p3 ^# S7 VŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
( U" Z: o4 f2 t/ F' qŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
$ q3 m, g+ \$ z/ G; p$ eŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
0 r0 u" l, h, q; b0 k. w3 fsupport;
& @2 ^4 V, I$ z1 F9 ZŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
9 _" K" e& G" D% [+ [Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
# D( _, H4 p1 D' |/ LŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

  u1 E& U/ K' B7 J$ yŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
* a2 s* o, n5 k" h7 geducation and experience;
1 j. `+ ~/ s7 Q/ L$ WŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
$ }- E. H9 ~9 d% oŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
5 \, K7 W* y( r. k9 p* yŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
* |/ [. s0 S0 D3 ^/ pverbal and written.

! q' u# t0 `4 B$ G$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
! v$ v: h$ B) L) v( msuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
: z+ ?. i1 e( @; G4 k2 xdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
