Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
0 I7 M7 c% W( A) X* A+ XManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
* n. \8 B. o/ |+ [The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into

Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
+ W" U) q0 ]+ u5 ], N5 c/ YŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
* T; Z$ q8 \! X! N  GŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- @5 X+ o- g! L% T# qŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
; [- ?4 c2 e0 q. x3 Z) jeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
8 {3 B" q" Z/ U# GŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
7 f1 d. k# @* M& L( M; ~Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
