Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors! {' X8 |/ J; U5 @( Q# f3 h
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications' d' o. @! V7 B4 a, d# e5 @
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts5 ]: I3 f7 G# w; {% B: E! _
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment1 r: w. J! g8 s/ \
Qualifications
X# d; m0 P; i! e6 o; S2 mB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered* E8 @, y: { n$ u' s
Several years related experience in a similar environment. a V4 ~: y* Q1 `& H- E' b1 X
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
6 _8 V4 j# J# }Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset4 |/ g% `; x8 l
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
