Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
" e& f4 x2 Z( x/ UAdult education background
Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
! L0 h% i- h7 n) s) `0 ^4 K/ t) l: eExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
% l5 Q# c8 F, i3 Y( q9 Q) [Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
* U0 u- f# B. _# Z" oComputer proficiency
7 j8 R" j% w2 W) o+ ^! fStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
$ `9 N/ q- b0 c1 k7 A8 gUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
7 {, d3 p( M  \$ X0 u+ cDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
