Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
6 S5 v8 Y+ @; C/ F2 h. Z! [Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
; w* z# Y7 m$ g" N# t( o1 c2 n; CAdult education background
6 }1 k7 {( }; W" W. `2 M3 Y0 VExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
5 l& J' T3 D' E6 K9 T/ u! FExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
) W- u5 D/ Y) S1 m% ZExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
2 _& V6 A7 Y4 ~Computer proficiency
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
7 w5 }' }2 c# V: w8 O7 qUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
( c! [# Q3 `& D* o' f$ [  _Display positive self-concept
1 B; c, a+ {) ~. GPossess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
