' A9 m9 F  j0 w( ]  L+ D" DThe Desktop Support Team Leader is a supervisory/advisory position that is responsible for the support of the City of Edmonton desktop environment, including geographical support City wide:+ I; b0 v' d2 b: k) E) ^- H

4 Q( i/ K2 F7 C# x" z( x4 g2 g· Supervising a team of technical staff, which will include staff recruitment, setting performance expectations, evaluations, mentoring and coaching./ E) l- b. `7 b2 e% s. l

& `  e) V9 \% w$ q$ ]· Planning, coordinating and allocating staff to ensure effective & efficient support of City desktops.0 V( P: l2 l5 [9 k& x

! W' U. s7 T& W: J4 q· Working with other operational areas in maintaining an ever evolving desktop support model.

· Performing quality assurance for work performed, in response to customer requests.

! M% _; c( S; G· Degree or Diploma in Computing Science from a C.I.P.S. accredited institution.3 C4 p* F& f6 c

) \, n) H1 f* f% m) ]· Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work in systems development that would include supporting a desktop environment.

· Experience in supervision, leading,and managing a team of technical experts is essential.

33.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.; A2 L8 K/ A( _$ ^

SALARY RANGE:
. W, k- i* M2 n* ^% V3 C" a5 S( B0 \4 F
21M, Salary Grade: 038, $37.02 - $46.76 (Hourly), $2,498.99 - $3,156.37 (Bi-Weekly), $65,223.51 - $82,381.19 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
