Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
& ^% z) h* i8 O% J1 ~operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
) ?) z, g% I0 b+ z9 f! ?: Ithat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
1 }0 [  o, P; N+ l$ C3 ADuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
" A) F5 V# x; Z& J2 e• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
0 Y$ g6 z$ W  ^• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
0 H) x. k1 d+ u• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
4 K9 s; R. z) F/ r; C• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
1 \2 j+ u* I& O' {- o( z• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
" B- l* a: o6 `) ?- o: R• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
$ J6 b) `( T9 @; f1 r8 D; |8 b• Protect company assets at all times
5 w2 U6 N3 H- e; n% p• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
! K3 H8 B& m9 i; Z• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
3 C0 K$ z7 b3 V- S• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and

• Fast paced environment

Physical Requirements
0 N/ U  B+ W9 b0 U9 D• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
2 ^  f3 {8 x% Y! D, z3 Q• Standing for extended periods of time
