6 E% p7 D& P+ s* h0 @ Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

: [* C4 M0 k: s6 w( v% l. F Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

3 O( P9 V6 n3 G! \  Q! rWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

1 L+ }3 Y& j" N* Z+ L; iLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

0 }, t4 `2 {+ M3 ~8 J* TWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
" X& U9 Z7 W  c& y5 ?- JManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

* Y( }* _3 q; v2 w5 n) @5 kProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;
+ a! u( T% K; v3 ], J. N2 p  b+ D8 r
- l& f8 q# o( ^Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
  B0 U: Q* w  d4 B$ v" ? Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
" \. U9 g7 R/ F4 n4 [( k( Y) w9 u
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

, H, j2 `- [/ {* ~# K5 o8 QExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
