Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
4 A8 v0 \' {5 j        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
; n& n1 m% k0 o' g' ~( `+ i: v/ c0 O        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

8 w1 _4 o. U0 d2 d  m5 A' UQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
! k. _/ U/ `) N" H•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
# @8 r" e1 ~& l. b•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
1 t6 _; E! f6 b3 U3 C$ d3 E2 ?•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
