Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

9 X4 j( S: F. |( ~8 C9 Z! h9 T* cKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
; {- _+ X! f2 _  O& W        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

5 d1 z2 ~. \0 YQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
0 d; m" d$ C5 |  B0 B* ^•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
! \4 x) U/ F5 Z! K3 X•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
8 b: _: z& y* s( l( N•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
8 o: U" C2 q6 O8 J9 y% f& t$ A•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
; z8 m* w) v2 D4 Q" h: @" t* {, q•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
