MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

' S9 V$ g9 l/ X2 ]3 y; G( \# \Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
7 N; y& p7 {( S        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
$ L+ Z0 I- ^8 C3 Y        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
, n( [1 q/ z, y: @, t4 i•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset

•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
1 |8 Y" x. U( o( y  }•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
