Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
* T6 x0 c1 [% a4 E  t9 P        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
: A8 [8 O" K  X        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

7 p* \) G+ F& l9 s! A+ t- nQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
3 u% Y) Y5 q  ^+ A/ K•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
* `- d( M: q, D/ s•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
0 m' T# }' H' }+ ~4 `. b•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
