- facilitate recruitment of participants for the Keshotu Leadership Academy
2 ?+ z9 P' l$ _- conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities( ?8 m% y H; _

Organize Leadership Training Sessions% U( P2 o( X6 e1 W
- locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings; F8 m: n! v9 C1 N/ Q, c; G
- set up a plan for the span of the project (Jan 08 – Dec 08) for weekly meetings

- attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate

- Be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

- With program manager, create proposals to continue funding of this project.

- work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation

- excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society
6 u7 n) w$ b2 Y- demonstrated leadership abilities with youth
4 t% u& D8 w8 g' B- j6 O- experience with project coordination
5 q$ P$ l5 \5 k- degree or diploma in human services field
- F) }8 B) K; l, y; u- developed knowledge and skills in one or more performing arts* \9 \/ f4 H& b& Y! ^" X- M1 R
