At the moment most users on the Shaw network using Internet Explorer # v% d2 t# ]6 O0 T3 N+ k& p
are unable to load University of Alberta websites. I'm hoping this will help % I9 F: x! X- r" ~( {/ S x- Y
avoid some user frustration.

The way to resolve this is to have the user open Internet Explorer and go to
. r y6 I1 T4 q; UTools -> Internet Options6 t5 T, H' h4 w3 D) S3 {
Click the Connections Tab! e/ A4 Q, I6 L& y4 [9 @8 }
Click the the "Lan Settings" button3 ]* m- N9 H) g/ \ }9 Y; Y* Z
Remove the check mark next to "Automatically Detect Settings"
