Tim has been a proud member of 424 for more than 25 years.  
! |# q2 P! z4 c  n% q( k
He began work with our Union in 1981, receiving Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrician status the following year — and in 1988 he also became a Journeyman Boom Truck Operator.

/ s$ W% ]( n* z0 k# ]' n& z# iWhile on the job and with a young family he continued his education in night courses, graduating from the U of A in 2001 with a degree in Human Resources Management.  In 2003, following two additional years of study, he was designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

Tim has served 424 in a number of roles:

    * Shop Steward
    * Chief Steward
% C$ `4 ^! U  Y    * Local Treasurer for five years.

8 h, W+ I7 I8 m; HFor four years, Tim was our Local’s Dispatcher before becoming Assistant Business Manager in 2002. Over the years Tim has represented us well externally as a delegate to a number of labour bodies:
