两天的话可以去恐龙公园了，我上周本来计划两天的，结果只去了一天，Hoodoo，suspension bridge, Bleriot ferry, little church, horseshoe canyon & horsethief canyon都转下来了，只是museum和那个老煤矿没时间看了，如果两天可以把所有的都看下来。

从卡尔加里沿着9号公路东行130公里，我们就像跨越时空一样从白垩纪回到了侏罗纪，从汹涌的冰川雪水回到了恐龙生存的时代。经过一个半小时的路程，又是一个地质奇观让你难以置信；连片干涸的山丘形成了这里的不毛之地。这就是马蹄峡谷（Hourseshoe Canyon），它位于恐龙谷镇（Drumheller Town）的西南方向不远，被称为加拿大的“大峡谷”，早期来到这片不毛之地的法国人把它称之为“Badland”。后来，这个奇特的地质构造竟然成了世界上最大的恐龙发源地。

进入恐龙镇，有几个地方值得一去：

第一、特殊地貌的石人柱（Hoodoos）
   当你进入恐龙谷镇后，沿10号公路行驶约6公里左右，有一个特殊地貌的景点叫Hoodoos，中文叫石人柱，因为它像一个个石人矗立在山脚下，它是砂岩柱和页岩顶的地质构造，是一个珍贵的地质奇观

第二、吊桥（Suspending Bridge）
   参观完 Hoodoos，我便沿10号公路返程5公里来到这个历史遗迹。首先展现在眼前的就是这个吊桥.  阿特拉斯煤矿－Atlas Coal Mine）就是在离 Hoodoos 西侧不远五公里的吊桥景点处，过了吊桥就可以看到那个遗留下来的煤矿，它已经成了一个历史遗迹和观光景点。

第三、信息中心（Drumheller Information Center）
   由10号公路转838号公路前往恐龙博物馆的途中有一个让你怎么也不会错过的地方，那就是恐龙谷信息中心，那四倍比例高大的霸王龙仿真雕像矗立在马路的右侧地停车场，把信息中心踩在脚下，让你不得不驻步前往留影。

第四、世界上最小的教堂（Little Church）
   世界上最小的教堂，始建于1968年，1991年重建，座落在838号公路旁边，距离皇家特立尔博物馆很近。它一次只能容纳6个人

第五、皇家特立尔恐龙博物馆（The Royal Tyrell Museum）

DINOSAUR TRAIL

The 55 km (33 mi) Dinosaur Trail loop takes you west of Drumheller on the north side of the river off Hwy 9 into Midland Provincial Park and the Valley of the Dinosaurs. You'll cross the river valley on a cable ferry and return to town on the south side of the Red Deer River.

ROYAL TYRRELL MUSEUM-Named after Joseph Tyrrell who discovered the bones of carnivorous Albertosaurus in 1884, this superb museum contains a wealth of information about our 4.6-billion-year-old planet. The highlight is the display of some of the world's best fossils, plus a prehistoric garden, interactive exhibits and computer simulations. Six km (3.6 mi) from downtown Drumheller along the North Dinosaur Trail. Open year round. May 22 - Sept 6 daily 9 am - 9 pm; Sept 7 - Oct 11 daily 10 am - 5 pm; Oct 14 - May 21 Tues to Sun 10 am - 5 pm. $10 adult, $8 sen, $6 child (ages 7 to 17), $30 fam. Prices subject to change. HORSETHIEF CANYON-17.6 km (10.5 miles) west of the Royal Tyrrell Museum, the canyon offers a spectacular view of the badlands valley and its multi-layered walls. Paths lead to petrified oyster beds. The area with its many folds and bends proved an ideal place for thieves to hide horses in the early 1900s.

BLERIOT FERRY-Established in 1913, it uses cables and pulleys to transport vehicles across the Red Deer River. The ferry is one of the oldest of its kind operating in Alberta and the only remaining ferry of 13 that once crossed the Red Deer.

Horseshoe Canyon is located 17 km southwest of Drumheller on Highway 9. Horseshoe Canyon is the busiest of Drumheller's two canyons due to its proximity to Highway 9, which runs between Calgary and Drumheller.

我也在计划带家人去.真心请教大家,住在哪里比较好一些?我的意思是, 方便游览,旅馆的位置定得科学一些,这样到了景点不要来回跑.路线怎么定才好呢?我们从来没有自驾游过, 没有什么信心.谢谢大家回复.

住在Drumheller不用跑远路，第一天转Dinosaur Trail(Drumheller Downtown，Horseshoe & Horsethief Canyon，Little Church，Bleriot Ferry，Midland Provincial Park等等）和博物馆，第二天去东南的Hoodoo、煤矿以及恐龙公园。不过，如果想经济点的话可能还是在Calgary一带找住的比较好。

不好意思，这俩天没上网，我车还可以坐4人，分清性别合租旅馆，打电话到information center，那里也可以提供住宿信息和电话。
