# V* d2 ]: ]0 [2 i' V6 {+ C; {• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
! X5 ], P& \. J8 ithe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 5 M: y! d7 f* i, f: ?
the Board of Directors;
+ H7 o; _6 Z4 { i• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations
$ w# ~6 D( Z4 N: [: hincluding financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to
% P" o$ [" _5 K- j9 denable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; ! q# v$ V8 ~9 `- J- _
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and
8 f9 t7 _) Z3 kobjectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by
& k3 e; u5 k8 C4 `4 d5 nthe board; $ R2 R) N4 c9 B( @9 j9 M! t1 \
• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; 4 d. Z3 n& a+ b* x
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
; h& U" p* ?6 j! cthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; 7 j" \+ f7 {9 M# @& Y
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
4 ^" C, ?4 W G* x( \0 H V( ]changing needs of the organization and community; * R6 U2 f! ]! d# y5 E. A$ y+ V2 L
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

- w4 |! y2 P, N• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; ; o( Y" \+ b5 V# j7 d
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective

9 ~9 ?; ]" |. _" z2 H• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed;

8 y( n: g# N& c- O' Z; x, i• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
) _: a4 [2 @4 F* `, @$ S; o3 L$ i# nthe implementation of systems to manage these risks;
. ^( P D% j6 O9 [9 }" q• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
* j6 E: k4 _. z* v! J" c2 d8 o" nperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED A* R9 I C* i

• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
, }) ?7 w) A7 ?practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of 2 z# O3 T- s5 t/ T( f

• Acting as an Ex-Officio member of the Board, all Board Committees and Board Task

• Post secondary degree or equivalent experience.

1 m# ~* b7 a+ f5 |1 V% _9 L. I• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; % a4 h! }0 ~; a0 L) C
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation

P& J0 A8 M3 H/ @" i. E• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations,

and financial statements; and
