March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!

On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

0 V# [6 k Z9 QBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
4 o; X. n! m$ K2 r. g
" E0 W9 j8 S& h [2 `3 }learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 2 s) v6 k' M4 l) z
digging for and examining fossils
( g/ ^( a0 r+ G2 C# N' V& q, ~exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
2 z; V7 A3 I& d% k" Dinvestigating insects ) K' _, B1 f: u
and much more!
