7 M/ }( n! w vOn Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

" F8 ^9 Q9 j1 WBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:" D) ?" F$ t. C8 l* x
5 \3 C" r+ V! V* }; k* tlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
% X$ w' d0 w" J& i! |digging for and examining fossils % R# r; E8 {- D/ D3 L
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth , T8 f* U0 x8 S# W& b/ c
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
