CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday., e/ w; m/ g' Z+ W. z5 e
! I* v9 H4 V' g( ?% INo one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.7 ~1 ^$ {; I; P: m5 ~/ ?4 z# @

The energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.

Suncor has been plagued by a series fires at its oilsands operations in the past five months, suffering three fires since October in the upgraders which convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil.
