Position: Project Coordinator, Smart Choices.( t5 q' m* q2 n

Responsibilities:: F$ k$ C6 D$ C! \! ^# `6 f+ X. W6 \
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth- i* w1 G5 N. T4 A4 Z- r8 j1 z
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
: | ?9 |0 j. c8 b, P8 f+ V- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups. r: d8 u/ N s$ `+ Y! R# Q
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
`. s" _( g4 P5 m/ }( G- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

) c, O! l q* [- ZKey Qualifications:+ G0 {4 a( ~8 D$ c8 S7 c! M
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
9 L8 [5 l" C- K5 V1 N- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement6 ?: O9 a" a" G5 d" E% J% M- |& @
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others/ L y4 c( k' O7 g: B
- Experience doing program development7 q) {. w1 Y4 K/ D+ @
- Strong organizational and coordination skills- U7 g' D6 \' ^7 ]: n0 j* A E% L
- Self-directed and able to take initiative9 `! F+ |9 b* Q! g
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset- a8 g+ a6 {+ L( G
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license3 C* b F8 X y

3 J. C1 w+ r4 q# R9 CAssets:
