The Materials Management Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to perform administrative duties and assist with the procurement of goods and services through various vendors. Responsibilities include:

· Providing purchasing and invoicing services, including creating, placing, expediting purchase orders and processing them for payment using SAP.& M$ x. M" u) t6 p, ^) R

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college, supplemented by training in microcomputer applications.

· Two years diversified word and information processing experience.% p2 q+ u) V7 v; p; q! n& h

HOURS OF WORK:

SALARY RANGE:

0 ?, X; ~* n" H1 ~21M, Salary Grade: 006, $1,053.13 - $1,307.68 (Bi-Weekly), $27,486.82 - $34,130.38 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
