The deadline for submitting our bid to Canadian Heritage was November 30, 2009. Edmonton EXPO 2017 submitted its bid to the Province of Alberta and Canadian Heritage by this deadline. 2 X8 C( u; T& G' }& P. |1 r
The Canadian bid city decision is expected in spring 2010. - d3 D9 b3 S& A5 `4 CThe international competition follows. The earliest Canada can submit its bid is in June 2011. 1 m- Z2 N) L# iThe host city will be voted on by members of the International Exhibitions Bureau in the fall of 2012. ' ^1 |8 z+ s% F/ u# X* M
