some found jobs last year

I know somebody found job last year after they got their degree in Canada. Although there degree is not related with power system design, they have a strong backgound, working in the provincail electric power design company( Dian Li She Ji Yuan). You can check the websites of some engineering service companies, such as  Snc-Lavalin or Bantrel.

They are in the same field as me. I worked for power substation design when I was in China.7 F* n5 K) d' E- K6 G8 D

+ ~( A& J/ t; {- l2 A+ L$ qI am in ON now. It seems that the AB is developing quickly now and  I wonder if the person who has the electrical design background like me has the chance in Edmonton now. I hope to get more information about the design area, expecially in Electrical Design field in Edmonton.$ h! N( B  b! m7 x. j7 h

6 X& Z" H. x0 s( Y- y, J/ x2 FThey went to the school during IT booming period and wanted to find a IT job. When they graduated, the IT boom crashed and they went back to their previous field.

Are there Canadian degrees helpful for them when they were looking for jobs? 8 K/ ?5 Z3 E7 I- C7 r' K# L- {; c
" y6 [' @4 `+ u* z8 Z; ^9 e4 n
Maybe yes, maybe no.
& Z9 e5 \: h* p% Z, x
8 A4 {6 `: @2 m. ^  s3 nAre their jobs they are working now any related to their Canadian degrees?5 J, T: q" t+ O1 `$ X$ q

Gernally speaking, they are all called as electrical engineering. But I think there are big difference.
