some found jobs last year

I know somebody found job last year after they got their degree in Canada. Although there degree is not related with power system design, they have a strong backgound, working in the provincail electric power design company( Dian Li She Ji Yuan). You can check the websites of some engineering service companies, such as  Snc-Lavalin or Bantrel.

They are in the same field as me. I worked for power substation design when I was in China.( k% F, X9 `- |( ^8 e
4 y" e6 s& I1 R7 y5 E
I am in ON now. It seems that the AB is developing quickly now and  I wonder if the person who has the electrical design background like me has the chance in Edmonton now. I hope to get more information about the design area, expecially in Electrical Design field in Edmonton., |6 k# A9 L* a: P1 W7 R
& L+ Q3 A1 F: h; `7 ]% [
Do you know something more about that?

% ?' j4 r' |) i  V* R  R# m( FThey went to the school during IT booming period and wanted to find a IT job. When they graduated, the IT boom crashed and they went back to their previous field.
1 u5 P! {1 p8 l* {$ F- q! s6 |; x9 R$ J; J: E3 F- ~: M; W/ i7 E3 r" q
Are there Canadian degrees helpful for them when they were looking for jobs?

( T2 f9 U. V$ a4 I8 J1 ^6 Y' v! |  RMaybe yes, maybe no.* O" O* Z4 }6 J$ Q+ @; ^  G
0 a: x- z3 @* h0 x- A& y
Are their jobs they are working now any related to their Canadian degrees?* X; P4 r; D% j. K8 v; y# l

Gernally speaking, they are all called as electrical engineering. But I think there are big difference.
