院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享: _2 m s( p/ r8 C% v J4 J% i+ Y

* p# i+ q" t0 n- `! k9 @% w4 I3 cups saskatoons 750 ml
$ U3 S2 c/ q% b: r9 g9 Q2 p, N$ Z3 l1 cup water 250 ml
& p- B+ ^1 V$ f0 B5 F' Z. n2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml
6 b8 J: K* f9 k( m& i1 _1/2 cup sugar 125 ml
6 m2 V9 [" p! X( P+ {juice of 1 lemon* 1 8 t( y( H1 L# `5 o& v
% Y$ {& P1 E9 d) I# J2 x
Place saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum!

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
