S'TOONS 'N STUFF FARM SASKATOON SAUCE , U) Z; T0 L7 q1 s# ` [

3 cups saskatoons 750 ml

1/2 cup sugar 125 ml " d8 s5 j2 J) n1 f, i- d0 r
juice of 1 lemon* 1 9 k) t0 i3 d R
) h* I, h: i/ t) I) L3 j0 s& S3 EPlace saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.9 L4 G+ n* q/ ]0 J: I

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum!
