Job Duties / Responsibilities
/ f% C' K0 U5 m; iThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
% ?1 }5 X5 U" Z- h/ ~5 D: y2 V• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
4 o4 X( q) K+ T+ y" h• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

( W; D% M- c* C# P4 k• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
2 ]) d( C( U( H# q% z& c6 ~7 g( j• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
7 Z) n8 h6 u# @/ m% E) v9 [• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
/ E: E; K, I1 z- P) _• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
, z" b: K' v/ F/ t9 b# r$ g/ X9 a• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
