Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
. x1 Q* \/ R/ i8 F7 L% X0 i• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
( r$ D/ t& w" r  u• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
' q, e7 D. z* v% U& ~$ O! a& j• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.


Education / Experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
; Q5 Q7 O) x' E8 f• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
3 x4 b2 R" R; _5 c• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
% [$ a$ j6 {- y! ?1 c. W5 k! n• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
, y/ R% u+ k+ u4 b3 Q: V: K• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
