Job Duties / Responsibilities
9 v+ H, z' U6 D4 mThis role is responsible for the following activities representing site: 7 i' Y x. T7 [1 q# f2 i
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support; o4 y! u. @% z% x3 @. g; t
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel7 K0 h2 g: ] c6 i
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
1 ?. k% {! j" S% @• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments; N8 z' d$ F. E* A7 Z
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams( l' E& t1 X8 X+ F7 H
• Autocad and Microstation drafting0 Y) r7 T, w- F# p+ r+ i/ Y
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
: t W1 j) L4 {1 F) L• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator; K6 |$ q H7 y! N5 w$ [
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.% i( w- Y9 [" ]8 |' Y

Education / Experience, U3 K9 f7 \* G' ]# S( [/ A* \
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI$ J; [ l% q- K$ a" }3 K [
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator) E8 e- A( ]. X0 g. C0 C
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
5 o, J6 f+ ]# q( _7 g1 b• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required1 i( M; Y' e- p, s/ ^# s+ L9 D' k
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset0 K0 w" v9 w; r D) i7 }. s
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
