This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm) d' N! J; x7 d1 z6 b
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue! C& }' m# R! X9 U- j7 X; p

You must be/have:$ r8 R7 n5 |- H$ F
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
1 t G+ R+ t' [/ {+ X% B• Unemployed or underemployed
" X6 O9 V c6 H, L6 W, {! ^% q• Minimum 18 years of age5 x# H- e. w W3 r
• Good moral character, q/ u+ m" c7 x9 g# C- b9 _
• Good health and physical condition
. W( O& c- N" r* n2 E• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+9 {4 `' `# G* Y
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
" j8 [0 W1 o: O% E• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
