# @) y( `, h( L" pSupervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
6 h: m9 x8 B0 `2 E: Z2 ~Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
Sell merchandise to customers
: l/ a9 r1 y7 D7 v/ PResolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
0 I3 T( N* O9 H, Q& z, X- jMaintain specified inventory and order merchandise
0 s- [0 z( x- e, fPrepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff

Employment requirements:

: \5 l$ g* I+ I3 C         Completion of secondary school is required
        1- 2 years  work experience as retail salesperson
